2003 - graduated from the Faculty of Biology and Soil Science of the St.Petersburg State University.
2003-2005 – PhD student at the Komarov Botanical Institute. Worked in the Botanical Museum 2005 – present – junior researcher in the Botanical Museum

Main fields of interest: morphology, anatomy (especially bark anatomy), and taxonomy of Apiales.

Scientific activities:
Russian Botanical society (RBO), member; International Association of Wood Anatomists (IAWA), member.

Current research: Comparative bark and wood anantomy of Araliaceae and Apiaceae.
