1985 - graduated from the Faculty of Biology and Soil Science, Leningrad State University.
Since 1986 worked in the Botanical Museum.
Main fields of interest: taxonomy of fossil plants, the early Eocene floras of north-eastern Yakutia.
Current research: DNA-containing structures in cells of fossil leaves and fruits of Myrtaceae from the early Eocene of north-eastern Yakutia.
