New species and varieties in the floras of Piedmont and Valle d’Aosta areas in Italy

Abstract

A new species Viola mariae Pînzaru sp. nova, two new varieties Astragalus monspessulanus L. var. buffae Pînzaru var. nova and Campanula glomerata L. var. selvaggii Pînzaru var. nova, and six new forms of some species of the genera Campanula L., Phyteuma L., Pedicularis L. and Saxifraga L. are described. Two new combinations Stipa montana (Moraldo) Pînzaru comb. et stat. nov. and Campanula glomerata var. cervicarioides (Schult.) Pînzaru comb. et stat. nov. are made. The distinctions of Saxifraga moschata Wulfen from S. exarata Vill. are shown.
