On some negative moments in publications on floristic classification

The first issue of the journal Vegetation of Russia is an important event in Russian geobotany. For the first time, domestic Researchers have been given the opportunity to publish documented reviews of vegetation in periodic print. The magazine will undoubtedly have a great influence on the development of the science of vegetation in our country.

I would like to dwell on some negative trends in the preparation of works on the floristic classification that can harm the development of this area in our country.
