Annotation

Syntaxonomic structure of the class Phragmito-Magnocaricetea and order Phragmitetalia of the Dnieper mouth area that includes 17 associations belonging to two alliances has been discussed. The paper presents diagnoses of associations as well as phytocoenotic tables. Both the peculiarities of communities and the factors of their spatial differentiations have been characterized. A problem of the class syntaxonomy and conservation of typical and rare communities is under consideration.
