Annotation

The need to create the «Map of Circum Boreal Vegetation » has been the subject of discussion already at the 2^nd International workshop on classification and mapping of vegetation in the circumpolar Tromsř (Norway) in June 2004, a further idea was discussed at the 3^rd meeting of the working group on conservation of Arctic flora and fauna (International Conservation of Arctic Flora and Fauna (CAFF) Flora Group) in Helsinki (Finland) in may 2005.
