Peer-reviewed monograph opens with a Foreword by V. P. Sedelnikov «Fr om the editor», wh ere it is reported that this is the first book in a new series «Vegetation of Siberia»: «In the context of biodiversity conservation and the growing interest in rare plants and communities need to give the most complete picture of the phytocoenotic diversity of Siberia. To further summarize knowledge of vegetation is important to the publication of primary data arrays of geobotanical descriptions on all types of communities».
