Annotation
Classification of well drained meadow communities occurring on the left-bank part of the Ob River, Tomsk region (southern boreal and hemiboreal subzones) is made according to the Braun-Blanquet approach. Polydominant grass meadows predominate on this territory (alliance
Festucion pratensis, class
Molinio-Arrhenatheretea). Steppe meadows are found in the southern part of the region. The overgrazing variants of plant communities belong to the association
Trifolio pratensis—Festucetum valesiacae (alliance
Trifolion montani). The Alliance
Festucion valesiacae (class
Festuco-Brometea) includes extrazonal steppe meadows on the southern slopes of ravines. The Class
Mulgedio-Aconitetea represents the tall-forbs communities which are rare in the forest zone.
