Annotation

For the modern Russian geobotany characterized by increased level of syntaxonomic studies (Mirkin, 2008). Among the research centers where this tendency manifested itself in full, — Bryansk, which has an active group of researchers under the direction of A. D. Bulokhov. To recently published interesting monographs on the vegetation of the city of Bryansk (Bulokhov, Kharin, 2008) and Sudost-Desna interfluve (Remeniscence, 2009) added a new book on herbal vegetation of the basin of the Sejm within Kursk region.
