Annotation

The book shows the botanical and geographical zoning of the Russian part of the Dnieper basin, located in the territory of six administrative regions of Russia. A review of the views on the position of the basin in the systems of botanical, geographical and geobotanical zoning is given. During zoning, the phytocoenotic and floristic characteristics of zonal and azonal-zonal forest vegetation were used in the context of J. Braun-Blanquet approach. The book is addressed to phytocoenologists, botanical geographers, specialists in the field of nature conservation, students of biological and geographical areas of universities.
