Education and work experience:

1974-1979 – Kazakh State University named after. CM. Kirov, Faculty of Biology, Department of Botany (specialty: biologist. Teacher of biology and chemistry).
1979-1981 – Internship at the Botanical Institute of the USSR Academy of Sciences (Leningrad).
1982-1985 – Basic postgraduate study at the Botanical Institute of the USSR Academy of Sciences (Leningrad, USSR). It was completed on time with the provision of work.
1986 – Ph.D. thesis «Comparative characteristics of some species of the genus Heracleum L. as essential oil plants». Specialty «Botany» (Leningrad, BIN).
2013 – Dr.Sc. thesis «Essential oil plants of the families Apiaceae, Asteraceae and Lamiaceae in the North-West of Russia (Biological features, composition and prospects for the use of essential oils)». Specialty «Biological resources» (Vladivostok, TIBOKh FEB RAS).

1979-1982 – Research Assistant at the Main Botanical Garden of the Academy of Sciences of the Kazakh SSR (Alma-Ata, Kazakhstan, KazSSR); direction upon graduation from the University.
